Dr. Sam Rosehill

Dr Sam Rosehill is the principal dentist at Ethical Dental and Orthodontics. He graduated with first-class honours from the University of Queensland in 2009 and went on to complete a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at King’s College London, graduating with distinction. He now tutors on that same King’s program.

Sam’s clinical focus is prosthodontics: crowns, bridges, dentures, ceramics and implant restorations. His Master’s thesis developed a way of making complete dentures that combines 3D printing with traditional laboratory craft, and that thinking shapes the practice’s on-site laboratory, where digital design and milling sit alongside hand painting and glazing.

He has lectured in Australia and internationally on dental disease, received the International Association for Dental Research Student Prize, and co-authored a guide for new graduates that is now given to every graduating dental student in Australia. He holds three Master’s degrees, is a member of the Australian Dental Association, and is a Fellow of both the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists.

Sam now works with existing patients and complex prosthodontic cases, and mentors the wider clinical team so that every patient benefits from that experience. Outside the surgery he 3D-prints things and writes software.
